torn between calling it Peacock or Enamel Blue, i chose Enamel Blue for what i am calling the color for 2013. a key reason in choosing the name is the trend of enameled surfaces for home, fashion, and accessories. i love how the name ties together the ethos of this relevant hue. Enamel Blue is an ideal color to be paired with the brass trend being both modern and dramatic.
i blogged about Enamel Blue in my ICFF post, and wanted to share with you some of my latest pins as i track this emerging color right into 2013. you can follow along as i pin and share my thoughts on how Enamel Blue can be paired with different palettes and finishes.

LOVE this colour! I hope one of the colours you like it with is Tangerine…
You do such a fabulous job! I so enjoy your blog.

I absolutely love this color and am picking up odds and ends to redecorate.
Love this color!
I am in love with this color – we painted our dining room with it! I like the name you chose too, I have a hard time describing this color to people and usually resort to ‘peacock’ – but it’s less green. Enamel is perfect!
i am sure your dining room must have turned out gorgeous Rachael … thank you for your comment & for sharing your thoughts!
Love this shade of blue! Goes amazing with coral, gold, ivory, lighter shades of blue, gray, & pink!
