welcome to the Fresh Hues blog where i share views and news on color, inspiration, and trends. my name is jessica, and i am creator and creative of Design Seeds.

i created the Design Seeds concept and format in May of 2009 as a way to bring a unique voice and my experience to design blogging. i have a passion for color, and have been fortunate to have a career working in color trend and forecasting.

my design experience extends beyond color. i graduated from the Center for Creative Studies with a BFA in Industial Design. my career began nearly 20 years ago in the studios of Ford Motor Company, and i have worked at several brands including Timberland and Reebok. i went “on my own” in 2009, and consult through Seed Design Consultancy in a diversity of industries on social media, brand, trend, color, and design.
